MEET DR. COREY ROMERO

A smiling man with glasses, wearing a navy suit, white shirt, and a colorful floral tie, standing in a modern office with large windows and blurred outdoor scenery.

Dr. Corey Romero grew up in small-town Louisiana, where he quickly began to develop big dreams. He was a curious kid, wanting to know it all about everything. Harriet the Spy was his first idol! Once he started tagging along to his older sister’s braces appointments, he found his calling. He fell in love with orthodontics instantly — watching as closely as possible, asking ALL the questions, and even assisting his first procedures at just 8 years old! Dr. Romero was fascinated at how such small detailed work could bring such large changes and how braces seemed to be a never-ending puzzle to work out. Eventually getting his own braces off unlocked a confidence in him that has kept him smiling ever since! Dr. Romero learned that the orthodontic experience was transformative beyond the physical benefits, and he dedicated his life to providing that special experience to others. He even worked as an orthodontic sterilization technician, laboratory technician, and clinical assistant all before going to dental school.

Dr. Romero graduated as valedictorian of his class at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, LA and then completed his training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. He is an ABO-Board Certified orthodontist and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Romero enjoys working with patients of all ages, and his favorite parts of his job are individualizing treatment plans to meet every patient’s orthodontic goals, educating his patients to be active and informed participants in their oral healthcare, and watching the transformations his patients undergo. He loves that orthodontics requires a team effort and is honored to earn the trust of the patients and parents of Pride Orthodontics. Dr. Romero believes everyone deserves a smile that makes them proud, and it is his mission to make everyone he meets smile! When he is not practicing orthodontics, he enjoys skiing, tennis, puzzles, and watching his favorite TV show, Survivor. One of his major life goals is to one day be a castaway in Fiji and win the title of Sole Survivor! Call him, Jeff Probst!
